Greetings in the name of Jesus!!
Our Arizona team has landed safely to the YWAM base where we will spend the week as our sleeping quarters. The journey was long and arduous--approximately 11 hours in all, but it was a success because it was above all a safe trip. We have had a chance to meet a man named Paul Okoto and his mission team consisting of talented islanders who shared their folk dances and songs. We in turn shared with them our performances and encouraged each other singing the song "Joy of the Lord". God is a wonderful God. And there is a lot of work to be done starting from tonight. I hope that from the Jail Ministry that starts tonight until the last carnival event for the Hopi children on Saturday, that only our God would be lifted up and glorified.
Our Prayer Requests:
1. that we would continually be filled with the Holy Spirit
2. that our leaders Dae JDSN, Vicky JDSN, and Kwon JDSN would recover quickly from the fatigue of driving to be capable leaders for the mission
3. we would have youth students who will not be ashamed to share the love of Christ
4. for the Jail Ministry tonight to be a blessing to those involved( deacon Ezra will give a testimony)
5. all the mission team members will not be weary from the desert heat (it is REALLY hot over here!!)
6. that our relationship with our missionary Millie and Will Toms will bear much fruit for the glory of God
